I just want to say that if you are following this blog, I can really use some good encouragement, so please leave comments to let me know what you think! This week has been more of a struggle so far but the more encouragement I receive, the easier it is for me to keep going! Thanks for reading my blog!

Goals
On Jillian Michaels 2010 there are several tips between exercises. One of them says to make daily, weekly, monthly, and ultimate goals and to write them down. I have all of my goals written down but they are sort of scattered so I am making a post specific to my goals.
My Daily Goals:
My Daily Goals:
- Drink 64 ounces of water each day
- Eat every 3-4 hours
- Take a multivitamin each day
- Drink 1 protein shake each day
- Record my weight, height, BMI, and exercises done in my "journal"
My Weekly Goals:
- Exercise 2.5 hours each week
- Update this blog using the information recorded in my "journal"
My Monthly Goals:
- Measure myself and record it in my "journal" to be posted on this blog
- Get my weight down to 135 pounds
- Get my BMI down to 21.8
- If nothing else, reach a healthy weight and BMI which would be 154 pounds or less and a BMI of 24.9 or less
So there you have it! I have written my goals down for all to see! The thing that is best about these goals is that they are all very achievable! That is why I will succeed!
Day 5-13
Okay so I have a very crazy schedule which has kept me from updating for a while so this is going to be a big one! That is why I am going to be lazy and just write it in the same format as I use to record it on paper. JM stands for Jillian Michaels and WF stands for Wii Fit and WFP stands for Wii Fit Plus.
Day 5:
Time of Day Assessed: 8:30 PM
Height: 5'6"
Weight: home (174 lb), JM 2010 (174 lb)
BMI: home (28.1), JM 2010 (28.1)
Exercise: JM 2010 (40 min.)
I also went to the gym this day for 60 minutes. I did the eliptical, the bicycle, and 5 lb. dumbbells for 20 minutes each.
Day 6:
Time of Day Assessed: 9:30 AM
Height: 5'6"
Weight: home (172 lb), WFP (171.3 lb), JM 2010 (173 lb)
BMI: home (27.8), WFP (27.53), JM 2010 (27.9)
Exercise: WFP (15 min.), JM 2010 (40 min.)
Day 7:
Time of Day Assessed: 11:15 AM
Height: 5'6"
Weight: home (172 lb), JM 2010 (172 lb)
BMI: home (27.8), JM 2010 (27.8)
Exercise: JM 2010 (40 min.)
Week 2 Totals:
165 minutes (2 hrs. 45 min.) + 60 minutes at the gym
YEA! I reached my weekly goal again!!!
As a nurse I stay pretty busy when I work. This makes me very tired and by the time I get home and in bed, it's usually 5:30 or 6 AM and I don't wake up until about noon. This leaves very little time for getting up, working out, showering, getting dressed, eating, and getting everything done around the house. That is why I did not set a goal such as "work out 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week" because I knew that it would be an unreasonable goal for me. So day 8 through day 11 I did not work out at all. Plus one of these days was Sunday.
Day 12:
Time of Day Assessed: 11:30 AM
Height: 5'6"
Weight: home (171 lb), JM 2009 (171 lb)
BMI: home (27.7), JM 2009 (27.7)
Exercise: JM 2009 (30 min.)
Day 13:
Time of Day Assessed: 12:30 PM
Height: 5'6"
Weight: home (170 lb), JM 2010 (170 lb)
BMI: home (27.4), JM 2010 (27.4)
Exercise: JM 2010 (30 min.)
That catches me up on everything I have done so far. As you may have noticed, I have lost 4 pounds already!!! YEA!!! I also went from a BMI of 28.1 to 27.4 which may not seem very big but to me it is HUGE!!! I still have 35 pounds left to go. I figured out that if I continue to lose 2 pounds each week I will have reached my goal by May 15th! Just in time for my anniversary and bathing suit season! YEA!!!

Day 2-4
Day 2:
I weighed myself on my home scale and the Wii Fit scale. I weighed 174 lb on my home scale and 174.4 lb on the Wii Fit scale. That makes my BMI 28.1 (home) or 28.03 (Wii Fit). I exercised with the Wii Fit for 30 minutes, the Wii Fit Plus for 32 minutes, and Jillian Michaels: Fitness Ultimatum 2009 for 30 minutes. That completed my 2.5 hours for the week!
On day 3 I did not work out at all because it was Sunday, but I did meet my other goals!
Day 4:
I weighed 174 lb on my home scale, AGAIN, and 174 lb on the Jillian Michaels 2010 scale. So my BMI is still 28.1. I know that weightloss doesn't really happen right away so I am okay with this consistency. I was so excited to use my new 2010 Jillian Michaels game! I did it for 30 minutes using one of the workouts that was already set up on the game. I decided to focus on abs. It was TOUGH! I am still in SO much PAIN from working out on Day 1 and Day 2! I think that I will probably use the 2 Jillian Michaels games more than the Wii Fit games! I am SO IMPRESSED!!!
So far I have done great at reaching my daily goals of drinking 64 ounces of water, eating every 3 hours, drinking a protein shake, and taking a multivitamin. I also earned a gold star for reaching my weekly goal of exercising with the Wii for 2.5 hours! Go me!!!

Day 1
So my goals are to exercise for 2.5 hours per week, drink 64 ounces (4 water bottles) of water per day, and to eat every three hours. I don't expect myself to be perfect at this from the start, which is why they are "goals". Here is my data for today:
Date of Assessment: January 1st, 2010
Time of Day Assessed: 12:30 PM
Height: 5'6"
Weight: home scale (174 lb), Wii Fit scale (167.3 lb), Jillian Michaels scale (173.23 lb)
BMI: home scale (28.1), Wii Fit scale (26.89), Jillian Michaels scale (28.0)
Measurements:
While I will be exercising for 2.5 hours per week, I am going to try to only do 30 minutes of one wii fit game in one day so I can have a variety of exercises to keep me interested and motivated. Today I did 30 minutes with the Wii Fit. I did all of the yoga poses that I have unlocked and a few strength training exercises that the Wii Fit suggested to do with the yoga poses I was doing. Then I did 30 minutes with Jillian Michaels: The Fitness Ultimatum. WOW! It was KILLER!!! I am still shaking! I cannot believe how effective this game is! I would recommend it to anyone! It lets you set how long you want to workout for (I did 30 minutes), what you want to work on (weight loss is what I selected), and after your workout that it sets up for you, it tells you how many calories you burned and it gives you a score on each part of your exercise. I loved/hated it! You know how those love/hate relationships can go!
So some other things I have decided to do are to drink a protein shake every day and take a multivitamin every day. The protein shake will be made using 1 cup of skim milk, which is a HUGE sacrifice for me, 1 cup of frozen berries/fruit, and 1 scoop of protein powder, making for 16 more ounces of water each day! HAHAHA!!! I am just going to use a multivitamin from Wal-Mart because it will serve the purpose! I can't emphasize enough how big of a sacrifice it is for me to use skim milk! I LOATHE IT!!! That is just how dedicated I am to losing weight! That is it for today! I will keep updating as I go!
